Description
Listed for sale is a gorgeous 1970s vintage Eames Lounge Chair and Ottoman. This set was designed by Charles and Ray Eames and produced by Herman Miller. This piece is constructed of molded wooden shells, removable black leather cushions, and cast aluminum bases. The set is overall in excellent vintage condition with some light signs of wear and use. The original rosewood plywood panels are in very nice shape with dark and vivid rosewood grain. The aluminum parts gleam nicely and leather cushions are also in very good condition. The chair retains its original labels underneath. This one is the black rectangular label, which was used after 1971. It appears that one site of the seat panel underneath the armrest may have had aveneer
repair at one point in time, though was done masterfully if so.
This chair measures at 31.5" tall x 32.75" deep x 32.75" wide. The ottoman measures 17.25" tall by 21.5" deep and 26" wide.
This is not the tall version of the chair, as that chair was not introduced until the late 2010s.
